I am a freelance writer and editor, specialising in science, technology and the environment. Some examples of my work are here.

I have previously worked as the editor of Hello World, a magazine for computing educators published by the Raspberry Pi Foundation, and as a content manager for Nature Portfolio, where I created Instagram posts and commissioned blog posts from scientists. I edited the Climate Scientists podcast from the British Antarctic Survey.

I hold a PhD in Atmospheric Physics from Imperial College London and have also worked as a data scientist, both as part of a small team at Terrabotics, where we were awarded a Scottish Enterprise grant to examine flaring from oil and gas companies, and more recently at SSE, where I built wind power models. I live in Edinburgh with my husband and two children. In my free time I enjoy drawing, knitting and exploring Scotland’s hills.
